Samaa Rasheed

Samaa Rasheed graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Human Physiology with a minor in Public Health. As an undergraduate student, she worked in the Anderson Lab, focused on reproductive immunology and infectious disease. At the Anderson Lab, she completed her senior thesis on the multi-preventive properties of the Human Contraceptive Antibody.

After graduating in 2024, she joined the EASE group where she transitioned to the field of neuroscience. Here, she investigates how early-life experiences contribute to long-term health and disease pathology. In her time with EASE, she has worked on various projects including: identifying rescues for social isolation and finding therapeutic targets for resilience and prevention of cognitive decline.
